Trout Cottage is situated
in a Gaeltacht area of the Iveragh Penninsula about 8 Km from Waterville.
It is a traditional two hundred year old cottage featuring all modern
conveniences as can be seen from the photos below. There are two double
bedrooms, one en suite. There is a cosy open-plan sitting room dining
room with solid fuel stove and oil central heating. Some of the many
things to do within the locality include: lake and river fishing, boat
trips to the Skellig Islands, hill walking in adjacent Kerry Way, water
sports, Derrynane House and gardens to visit. There are many restaurants
and bars in which to eat out and traditional music sessions in the local
pubs are also popular. |
